Easter Vigil at the Newman Catholic Center
Pray for, wait on and greet the Resurrected Lord with other UMass students and community members. Light dawns in the darkness. Alleleuia!
High spots in the Vigil tradition include the procession with the Easter candle, scriptural readings reminding us of God's promise and grace, the litany of the saints, a blessing of the baptismal font and renewal of baptismal promises, and (the highest) a full liturgy of the Eucharist.
