Fulbright Information Session and Grant Writing Workshop
The Office of National Scholarship Advisement is holding a "Fulbright Information Session and Grant Writing Workshop."
If you are considering doing graduate research/study abroad during the 2005-2006 academic year and are a US citizen, you are eligible to apply for a Fulbright Grant, and this workshop is
for you.
One in four UMass applicants have received a Fulbright grant for the past four years. Starting early and taking time to carefully prepare the entire grant proposal has been a key to their success.
The Fulbright Application campus deadline, for study/research abroad for the 2005-06 academic year, is September 16, 2005. To complete the application you will need 3 letters of recommendation, a foreign language reference, transcripts from every college/university where you have taken courses, a
study/research proposal, and a personal statement. All of these take time to acquire or complete.
Don't wait until the last minute!
Pre-registration for this event is not required. We will provide coffee.
