Floral Design Showcase
Deryck DeMatas AIFD & Daniel Vaughn AIFD will demonstrate innovative floral designs including weddings bouquets and table decor for special parties. They will discuss selecting flowers and the interplay of the bloom textures and colors to create fabulous floral masterpieces. Deryck and Dan are extremely talented floral artists whom the rich and famous select for their special events. Both have been featured at the Philadelphia Flower Show and in national magazines. They are members of the American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD).
"Having seen their designs and programs at national AIFD symposium, the public is in for a real educational treat and a wonderful learning experience," said Robert Whitney, AIFD and SAIFD advisor. The program will be of interest to the public, brides, florists, event planners and caterers.
The program is sponsored by the Student Chapter of the American Institute of Floral Designers and Florists' Transworld Delivery (FTD) Western Massachusetts District. Funds raised will assist the students with the trip to the 2005 AIFD Symposium in Seattle.
