Systems Biology Special Interest Group

Grassroots leaders at the intersection of the life sciences and information technology are driving the creation of a Bioinformatics Special Interest Group for Western Massachusetts and the Knowledge Corridor.

This has the potential to directly impact the economic growth of our region and we have the great fortune of having nationally-renown life and computer scientists in our own backyard. Please consider attending this first meeting, moderated by the former owner of a successful Bioinformatics company, UMass Amherst Computer Science Assistant Professor David Kulp.

Come learn about what's happening in the bioinformatics/systems-computational biology community and network with your colleagues. Bring your enthusiasm and ideas for a valuable SIG!
