Deliberate Differences: Progressive and Conservative Campus Activism in the US
A new report published by Political Research Associates of Somerville, MA outlines findings from eight different campuses across the country about their political activism. Author Pam Chamberlain will address UMass students (one of the campuses studied) and will answer the following questions:
- How do the Right and the Left function on campus?
- Can healthy debate really happen?
- Which national groups fund student activism?
- Can young activists get movement jobs after graduation?
The event is entirely non-partisan and the public is invited to attend.
