A Panel Discussion of Black Culture and Politics
In this special program for Black History Month, the featured artists and the well known UMass Amherst academics will discuss topics such as black culture, black politics and the black experience in American society.
The Black Culture and Politics Panel features poet Sonia Sanchez, hip hop artist Ursula Rucker along with UMass Amherst professors John Bracey of the Afro-Am Department and Agustin Lao from the Sociology Department.
