Understanding Union Contracts and the Role of Supervisors
Supervisors at UMass Amherst work in an environment in which more than 90 percent of employees are unionized, including many supervisors. Having some knowledge of the agreements that cover those employees and the supervisor's role in administering them can be very helpful. This session is intended to review the non-faculty contracts, particularly SEIU, Local 88, AFSME Local 1776 and USA/MTA.
