Internships and Cooperatives for Undergraduates
Cooperative education & internship positions, also known as field experience, will give you the chance to work as an “apprentice” in your field before you graduate, build career skills, make professional contacts, and get real world experience. Many of these positions offer attractive salaries that help offset the cost of attending UMass Amherst.
To be eligible for internships, you must be a full-time student at UMass Amherst with a minimum grade point average of 2.0. Co-op applicants must have at least a 2.5 grade point average.
