Implementing IPM: Setting-up a School IPM Plan

The IPM Plan - This plan, is a document that describes the organization and implementation of IPM on school grounds. The purpose of the pest management plan is to consolidate and organize all of the information pertaining to a school’s pest management practices.

The IPM plan explains and coordinates the approach of the school or daycare center with regard to pest control; and reviews the following subjects:

  1. Policy Statement;
  2. Review Roles of School Community as well as Roles and Duties of IPM Coordinator;
  3. Set Objectives and Thresholds;
  4. Apply IPM strategies for specific locations (indoors & outdoors)
  5. Evaluation of Results and Plan Maintenance
