Ongoing projects include insect pests and their management, etiology and managment of plant pathogens, biology and management of weed pests, plant nutrition, weather relationships, cultivar evaluation , water quality, pollination, and sustainable cranberr y production.

By calling 508-295-IPM-1, you can get weeklly updates on pest problems, IPM techniques, fertilizer and pesticide news, insect descriiptions, and other important current information. the messages are recorded, usually beginning in mid-March through August .
Disease Diagnostic Laboratory
Samples can be brought to the plant pathology lab for the identification of a disease or other problem; control recommendations will also be given to the grower. A site visit may be necessary to correctoy diagnose the problem.
Consultation
