Cranberry IPM Newsletter
Published every other week beginning in mid-March and concluding in late-August. Topics include managemnet notes, pest profiles, up-to-date pest information including thresholds, technique spotlights, and other pertinent information. Current pest inform ationis also discussed from contributors in New Jersey and Maine.
Cranberry Chart book: Management gudie for Massachusetts
This useful book is usually abailable in March. This guide includes sections on diseases, insects, wees, fertilizers, new planting , irrigation and chemigation, late water, and winter flood use and management. It is updated every year with the most rece nt information.
Best Management Practices guide for Massachusetts Cranberry Production
This guide includes information (particularly for new growers) which will enable growers to farm profitably and in harmony with their neighbors and the surrounding environment. It will be updated every two years as practices are improved or invented.
Field guide to common weeks of cranberries in southeastern Massachuetts
Pictural identification booklet of 24 species of weeds. Includes basic information on the individual weeds and a priority chart for planning management strategies.
IPM Notebook
This includes six IPM fact sheets, fact sheets from other states (where applicable), booklets on weed identification, and numerous information sheets on pest problems and their management.
