Cranberry School
Usually offered in January and sometimes also in April, cranberry Experiment Stations, East Wareham.

Basic topics (insect identification and management, disease identification and management, integrated pest management, weed identification and management, nutrition, etc. ) and advanced topics (specific biological controls, timing pesticide applications, mechanisms of disease resistance, benefits of sanding, use of late water, basic cranberry plant biology, etc.) are covereed in alternate sessions. This may be a one-day or a two-day meeting (sometimes having duplicate sessions, depending on the demand). Pesticide recertification contact hours will be available. Preregistration is required.

Annual Research and Extension Update
Usually offered in February or March, site varies.

Research conducted at the Cranberry Station during the previous year is discussed during this one-day meeting, and lunch is offered. Speakers will usually include one or two people from one of the other cranberry growing areras. Pesticide recertification contact hours will be available. Pre-registration is required.
Annual Summer meeting of the Cape Cod Cranberry Growers' Association
August, Cranberry Experiment Station

A one-day meeting which includes an equipment display, information booths, and a brief meeting of the CCCGA after a luncheon. Tours are conducted of the research trials on the adjacent cranberry beds by the Cranberry Team members.
Open IPM Labs
Every other week, beginning in late April and ending in early July, Cranberry Experiment Station. Various pertinent topics are discussed in individual labs with "show and tell" displays. Gorwers can ask questions of any Cranberry Station individual during this 1-2 hour period.
Miscellaneous Meetings

Specific meetings have been conducted in the past to cover topics such as Phytophthora root rot, fairy ring disease, Worker Protection Standards, etc.
