Youth

Family Nutrition Program (FNP) projects serving the greater areas of Boston, Brockton, Fall River, Lawrence, South Hadley, Springfield, and Worcester for youth from families that receive food stamps promote healthy food choices and regular physical activity. Nutrition education activities take place at both in and out of school settings and often include parents, caretakers, and other family members. Project activities vary from site to site depending on local community needs and may include workshops, food demonstrations, displays, bulletin boards, and newsletters.
