The Expanded
Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) is for limited-resource
families with young children. It is available in Springfield,
Worcester, Lawrence, Brockton, Fall River, and surrounding areas. EFNEP participants learn to plan
low-cost nutritious meals, follow Dietary Guidelines, prepare food safely, and manage food
resources. The program is delivered by paraprofessional educators
and includes both an adult and youth program.
