The Landscape Message is compiled from information gathered by UMass Extension
scouts monitoring landscape sites across the state. During the growing
season this message is updated each week in order to provide Green Industry
professionals with current information on pest activity, growing degree
days, cultural problems, pest management strategies, and upcoming educational
programs.
Vegetable
IPM Newsletter
Eighteen issues of the Vegetable IPM Newsletter are published weekly during
the growing season. Each has timely, field-based
information. All major vegetable crop—sweet corn, tomato, cucurbits,
crucifers, peppers, potatoes—are included. Topics
covered:
