Built: 1920-1921 This building commemorates the fifty-one men of the Agricultural College who died in World War I. The building has been used for among other things, the Alumni Office, bowling, draft registration, the Massachusetts Review Office, and an art gallery. The North Room has always been dedicated to Memorial purposes. In 1946 plans were made to add a large wing, but the idea was abandoned in favor of building a new Student Union. The design of the building was derived from the Italian Renaissance. |
