UMass Educational
Television is an outreach project of the School of Education at the
University of Massachusetts. Located at the University's Amherst campus,
UMET produces innovative, original educational programming for children
and adults.
UMET has
produced a number of award-winning television programs on a variety
of topics, including science for children, teenage poets, cooking for
kids and a nationally-acclaimed series of writers talking about their
craft.
UMass Educational
Television has served as a hands-on video production training laboratory
for students at the University as well as highlighting the work of the
University community.
