Endowed gifts make a lasting impact on our students and faculty for generations to come while strengthening the university’s financial base for the future.
Endowments provide enduring support for an area of value to you and leave a lasting legacy. A strong endowment helps attract the best and brightest students and faculty to this flagship campus, increase transformative research initiatives and affect real change in the Commonwealth and beyond. Browse a partial directory of existing Endowed Funds along with stories of why some choose to establish endowments.
The UMass Rising campaign also affords the university the opportunity to recognize donor generosity with specific naming opportunities (examples shown below). In addition, numerous opportunities exist for honoring a donor or other individual or entity in laboratories, classrooms, and buildings.
