Q: Who is REFS for?

A: REFS is a resource for the campus community, the public and the private sector.

Q: How do I search REFS?

A: Choose from one of more than 100 facilities and services by name or search the entire directory. REFS directory entries are categorized and searchable by equipment/resource type, research/activity area, academic department, and college/administrative unit.

Q: How can I add my lab or service to REFS?

A: Write an email to refs@research.umass.edu [2]. REFS is designed to reflect the continually evolving configuration of campus research infrastructure. Members of the campus community are encouraged to submit REFS additions/updates to help us keep REFS current.

Q: Are UMass REFS available to off-campus users?

A: Yes, many are. Check the facility page for availability.
