  • To ensure the continued existence of sports program
  • To promote school athletics by increasing participation
  • To insure a positive experience for participants
  • To help promote achievement in sports.

UMass FTK (For The Kids) - Baystate Children's Hospital

UMass FTK (For the Kids) is the largest student-run nonprofit charitable organization at UMass Amherst. We raise money year round for Baystate Children's Hospital in Springfield, MA, for children and infants with debilitating diseases and health issues. Baystate is the only accredited full service children's hospital in the region, complete with its own pediatric intensive care unit, and receives little to no funding from the state. UMASS For the Kids raised over $200,000 over the course of the past academic year, and this year we are looking to raise more than $300K.

Shanti Bhavan Children's Project

We empower children from impoverished backgrounds to take control of their lives and bring positive change to their families and communities. Each child receives 17 years of educational intervention, from the age of four until they graduate from college and begin their career. Our commitment extends from their first day of school to their first day of work. Shanti Bhavan levels the playing field, allowing our children to compete in the global marketplace on their own merit.
