Marisa has a B.A. in political science from Rutgers University and a master’s degree in public health from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
After working in politics and the non-profit field in Washington, D.C. and New Jersey, Marisa came to Amherst to pursue graduate studies in public health, with a concentration in community health.
She has a son, two labrador retrievers and one cat, all of whom provide plenty of entertainment and energy at home.
