Allergy Clinic

UHS Allergy Clinic

You don’t have to give up allergy treatment while you’re at school! The UHS Allergy Clinic can continue the immunotherapy routine prescribed by your allergist.

Our experienced staff works with your doctor to maintain your treatment plan, administering your serum and monitoring you for any adverse reactions.

Before your first injection at the Allergy Clinic, your allergist's office must complete and return UHS' immunotherapy guidelines form.

You'll also be asked to complete a clinic intake form before your first visit, and annually from then on.

The Allergy Clinic does not perform allergy testing or initiate allergy therapy; if you aren’t currently under an allergist’s care, talk with your primary care provider and review your health insurance plan for referral information.

Scheduling treatments

After receiving injections, patients must remain at the clinic for at least 30 minutes, so staff can check for reactions. Be sure to allow enough time in your schedule for this waiting period.
