NRBP logo

The Not Ready for Bedtime Players is an award-winning peer education theater troupe based at University Health Services’ Health Education department.

The Players formed in 1988 as part of “The AIDS Follies,” a UMass theater project about the AIDS crisis. Today, the group’s lively, entertaining skits address health issues impacting the university community, including:

  • safer sex;
  • sexual decision-making;
  • masturbation;
  • sexually transmitted infections;
  • HIV/AIDS;
  • coming out;
  • relationship violence;
  • sexual assault;
  • drug and alcohol use;
  • campus resources; and
  • much more!

Performances

Free performances take place Wednesday evenings throughout the academic year and during student orientation programs, at sites across the UMass Amherst campus Click for the current performance schedule, or see the UMass events calendar.
