Academic courses


CHAMPS Life Skills
A one-credit seminar (EDUC 193A) required for all first-year student athletes. Developed by the National Collegiate Athletic Association, it provides tools to achieve academic and athletic excellence, a balanced lifestyle, career and community commitment.

Voices Against Violence
A three-credit class (EDUC 292A); independent study and practicum credits may be available by arrangement.

Peer Health Education
A six-credit, year-long class (PUBHLTH 213 & 214). Both classes can be used for the culture, health and science certificate, and toward the undergraduate Public Health major requirements.
