Health care on campus
UMass Amherst visitors and guests who become ill or injured while on campus can be cared for at UHS on a fee-for-service basis.
UHS’ walk-in clinic sees patients with acute health concerns, but is not an emergency department. In a life-threatening emergency, call 911 for ambulance transportation to a hospital.
If you’re not sure about the best course of care, the Triage Advice Nurse can help; call (413) 577-5229.
Presentations and consultations
Looking for a health expert to speak to your club, community group or other gathering? UHS professionals are available for presentations and consultations!
Call the Center for Health Promotion, (413) 577-5181; or UHS' Center for Counseling and Psychological Health, (413) 545-2337.
