The Department

The department promotes the social foundations and perspectives needed to enrich educational practice. It prepares leaders in educational policy and administration, and advances educational research and evaluation methodologies that provide the basis for effective decision making and knowledge generation.

The department does not offer an undergraduate major, but it does offer undergraduate courses to meet the needs of students in related majors and certification programs, and students fulfilling General Education requirements.
