210 Social Diversity in Education (ID)
Focus on issues of social identity, social and cultural
diversity, and societal manifestations of oppression. Draws on interdisciplinary
perspectives of social identity development, social learning theory, and
sociological analysis of power and privilege within broad social contexts.
325 Introduction to Special Education (both
sem)
Overview of special education. History, terminology,
handicapping conditions, and services that affect disabled children and
adults in educational and real life settings. Prerequisite: HUMDEV 270
or PSYCH 350.
