About the Vice Chancellor |

Elizabeth A. Dale is Vice Chancellor for University
Advancement and Executive Director of the UMass Amherst Foundation.
She has managerial oversight for the campus’s Development
and Alumni Relations departments. She is also responsible for
the operations of the Foundation, including establishing the
corporation and working with its Board of Directors, and facilitating
the links between the Foundation and the university.
Since her arrival at UMass Amherst in 1978, Vice Chancellor
Dale has held a variety of positions including Director of
Conference
Services, Director of Business and Facilities Services, Special
Assistant to the Chancellor and Associate Chancellor. She
holds
a Masters Degree in Public Administration and a doctorate in
Education, Policy, Research and Administration from UMass
Amherst.
She also holds an adjunct faculty appointment in the Department
of Hospitality and Tourism Management. In 1999 she was awarded
an
American Council on Education Fellowship. |
