Advancement Communications

The Advancement Communications group produces the Gateway, the main Web site for the University of Massachusetts Amherst, UMass Amherst magazine, and a variety of print and online publications for the Development Office, Alumni Association and UMass Amherst Foundation that promote and advance UMass Amherst.

UMass Amherst magazine, published three times a year and sent to over 180,000 alumni, faculty, staff, parents and friends, explores the breadth of UMass Amherst today, including reports on cutting-edge research, award-winning programs, professional successes, personal triumphs and wry observations.

The UMass Amherst Gateway, produced by the Web Development Group, features an all-campus events calendar, and the latest news for prospective and current students, parents, faculty, staff, alumni and friends.

The Advancement Communications group also oversees the UMass Amherst Web Graphic Identity Plan, including the Campus Communications Guidelines.
