Steering
Committee
TWIST
was created in the summer of 2000 when a group of people concerned
about the future of women scientists and engineers came together
around a common cause. Although the initial group has grown
somewhat, TWIST is overseen by this group of interdisciplinary
people - administrators, faculty, and students. The Steering
Committee is responsible for communicating issues to the administration
or appropriate individual, distributing funds to female student
groups, organizing highly visible campus-wide events, monitoring
initiatives' progress, and maintaining this web site.
