UMass Transit operates PVTA buses for the Five Colleges as well as the towns of Amherst, Belchertown, Deerfield, Granby, Hadley, Northampton, South Hadley, and Sunderland.

UMass Transit is always looking for students who love to drive! We offer a paid Commercial Driver's License permit, paid training, and a free CDL. We are now accepting applications for our Winter 2018 Training Program. Click here for more information and how to apply to become a bus operator! 

We are now hiring for our Winter Training Program in January 2019!

Winter training adds even more benefits to our training program! You can train for your CDL over winter break on campus! Get your CDL faster without having to worry about scheduling with classes!
