Welcome to the official website for UMass Amherst Department of Theater’s production of Spring Awakening: A Sin of Omission, adapted by graduate students Toby Bercovici and Emily Denison from Frank Wedekind’s Frühlings Erwachen. Here you will find information about the play, the process of production, and the members of the production team.
The Journey is a blog of Dramaturg and Co-Adaptor Emily Denison’s experience on the production from reading twelve translations of the play before deciding to adapt in May 2009 to opening night in February 2010.
