Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are DeadApril 3-12, 2003 Rand Theater Welcome to the website of the University of Massachusetts Department of Theater Production of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead. In these pages, you can read more about the production, the play and the playwright. This Production was created almost entirely by undergraduate theater majors at UMass. The Play is an absurdist adaptation of Hamlet. This is one of Playwright Tom Stoppard's earliest plays. He has gone on to write many more.
