ESRI Site License Agreement

(Contract No. 98S3690)

 

     This agreement provides all participating institutions the right to run unlimitied sessions of all ArcInfo modules, ArcView and all its extension products, PC ArcInfo and PC ArcCad. The exception is that community colleges will not have access to ArcInfo.

     Complete installation media kits and documentation of the above software is archived at two locations; the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and the University of Massachusetts at Boston. Arangements for installation of this sofware must be made with the above installations.

     University of Massachusetts faculty and administrative staff may maintain backup copies of the above software, provided possession of each backup is in a locked cabinet with restricted access. In addition, all the information appearing in or on the original Software or Data labels, including the copyright notice, must be included in the backup copies and on the labels.

MapInfo Professional 5.0 Site License Agreement

     SPSS, Inc. has granted the University of Massachusetts a non-exclusive, one-year, license for the use of MapInfo Professional 5.0. For purposes of this license, MapInfo is available to any person who is affiliated with the University of Massachusetts as (i) a full-time or part-time employee, a (ii) full-time or part-time faculty member, or (iii) full-time or part-time student. This license includes 500-seats; 300-seats at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, 100-seats at the University of Massachusetts at Boston, and 100-seats at the University of Massachusetts at Lowell.
