These photos are from Sait-Petersburg, Pskov, and a very small town Novorzhev in North-West Russia. I took these pictures in January 2001, during my one month vacation that I spent there. I should say that winter in that part of Russia is not really a colorful season. Most of the time the weather is very grey and depressing, but there some extreamly nice days that try to make up for that - over the four weeks I spent there, there were exactly three of those, and as you can see, I didn't waste my time then :-)
