Contracting OGIA

OGIA offers simplified contractual and purchasing mechanisms for small, short term projects for both on and off campus organizations that are based on a schedule of University Trustee approved fees for GIS technical services. Most short term services are provided at a base rate of $20 per hour that includes the cost of the technical service provider and the GIS resources that make those services possible. Projects are arranged through processing a memorandum of requested services and indicating the account number from which the cost of those services will be paid.

Participation is GIS Site Licenses is also handled through a charge back process based on Trustee approved rates that can be found through the OGIA GIS Site License link.

More complex projects that require substantial faculty and staff time are managed through the contractual procedures of the University’s Office of Grants and Contracts Administration (OGCA). All contracts with Massachusetts state agencies are the subject of Interdepartmental Service Agreements processed through OGCA.
