database of financial assistance sources (grants, loans, cost-sharing)
available to fund a variety of watershed protection projects. To select
funding programs for particular requirements, use either of two searches
below. One is based on subject matter criteria, and the other is based
on words in the title of the funding program.

Center for Field Research - Funds field-based projects which
address a broad range of issues, including water quality monitoring
in lakes, streams, and wetlands.

announce funding opportunities for habitat restoration projects to benefit
coastal / marine trust resources
Past Opportunities
Community
Foundation of Cape Cod's Freshwater Fund and Environmental
Trust Fund of Cape Cod have posted a Request for Proposals to
provide financial support for collaborative projects that address
freshwater issues at the regional and local levels and that
promote and link good science and public education.
Riverways
Small Grants: Projects should substantively advance
some aspect of river, stream and/or adjacent land protection
and/or restoration. Nonprofit organizations as well as cities
and towns are welcome to apply (partnering is encouraged).
EPA
Environmental Education Grant Program supports
environmental education projects that enhance the public’s awareness,
knowledge, and skills to make informed decisions that affect environmental
quality.
