LICENSURE RECIPROCITY -- NASDTEC:

The following states have signed the National Association of State Directors of Teacher Education and Certification (NASDTEC) contract with Massachusetts for interstate licensure reciprocity. The following list shows teachers (T), Support Personnel (S), and Administrator (A), after each state sharing reciprocity. The five states that do not share reciprocity are: Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.

Educators should note that the NASDTEC does not cover or excuse an individual from meeting the testing requirements of the State to which they are applying for licensure/certification. Applicants must still pass whatever test is required and submit all documents required for certification in each state.
