The Zero-Waste Movement: Why its necessary and how WE can make it happen.

On a growing campus like UMass, waste seems like an inevitable result of such a vast population. But what if there was a way to eliminate not just some of the waste that UMass creates, but ALL of it?! Alex Freid, founder of the Post-Landfill Action Network (PLAN), is here to share his story on how creating a zero-waste campus and zero-waste world is possible. Learn how YOU, and students like you, can play a major role in solving the problem of waste. This is also a great opportunity to learn more about the “New-2-U-Tag Sale” coming to UMass next Fall!
