LEED v4 Rating System Review: Understanding the Design and Construction Rating Systems: Overview and Location & Transportation

Explore the LEED Location & Transportation credits, which encourage project teams to take advantage of the infrastructure elements in existing communities that provide environmental and human health benefits.

This session also includes an overview of the innovation, regional priority, and the integrative process credits. The session will cover each prerequisite and credit in a credit-by-credit format presenting technical requirements and strategies that work to achieve them. 


Session Objectives

• Identify the intent, requirements, and strategies for success with Location and Transportation, Innovation, and Integrative Process credits

• Consider the advantage of existing infrastructure supporting the project site

• Recognize the importance of pursuing these credits early and options available after site selection

• Recognize synergies between multiple credits


Each session in this series is registered for 1.5 hours of LEED Specific (BD+C, ID+C) GBCI hours as well as 1.5 AIA/CES LU/HSW hours.  These webinars are pre-recorded and you must attend in person to receive credit.
