Sustainable UMass Facilitation Workshop

The ability to run effective and productive group meetings is not as easy as it seems. If you want to sharpen your facilitator skills so that you can feel more confident about leading successful meetings, then be sure to stop by this workshop!

The success of your organization or campaign can ultimately come down to the success of your meetings. Empowering and effective meeting facilitation is the key to sustained participation and progress. Join community organizer and fellow student, Sam King, for a workshop and discussion for building your skills as a facilitator, which include, preparation, agenda creation, discussion guidance, creating safe spaces, anti-oppression and inclusivity, group power dynamics, and how to navigate difficult situations.

The workshop will be held on March 26th at 6:30PM in the Campus Center, Room 174. Snacks, coffee, and tea will be provided.
