Community organizer, hip-hop activist and former 2008 Green Party Vice Presidential Candidate Rosa Clemente

Holyoke Mayor Alex Morse

Springfield Gardening the Community Project and Youth Director Ibrahim Ali

Diego Angarita of Nuestras Raices Inc.

World Café Dialogue

After the panel concludes students, faculty, staff and local community members will be invited to take part in an interactive dialogue (World Café) to further explore ways of building diverse and inclusive environmental movements on the UMass campus, in our surrounding communities, and beyond.

What is a World Café Dialogue?

The World Café is a simple type of workshop and conversational process for hosting large group dialogues which aims to provide an open, safe and creative conversation around a topic of mutual interest to surface collective knowledge, share ideas and insights, and gain a deeper understanding of the subjects and the issues explored.
