Human Health and Movement
You enjoy physical activity. You care about what you eat. You understand that fitness and healthy lifestyles lead to greater enjoyment and happiness in life. And you're thinking about ways to increase your understanding of health and fitness, and perhaps make a career or helping others achieve better fitness and health.
In Human Health and Movement, you'll join like-minded peers to take part in an activity-based curriculum that introduces concepts from the field of Kinesiology. You'll explore exercise science, health, movement research and fitness through short lecture sessions, team-based learning experiences, and active labs that include off-site training involving hiking, biking and water activities.
Each student will learn how to develop a health profile by completing their own and will have a personal trainer assist in designing and implementing an individualized exercise program that will help them achieve their fitness goals.
