Off Campus Housing Referrals

Off Campus Housing Referrals provides rental and tenant information to University of Massachusetts Amherst students, faculty, and staff to help them find and form mutually successful landlord/tenant relationships.

Off Campus Student Center

The Off Campus Student Center (OCSC) will provide programming, information, and support to meet the unique needs and concerns of the off campus student by fostering a climate that encourages engagement with campus activities, growth in independent life skills, a positive off-campus living experience, and responsible community membership. By providing a dedicated space in the Student Union for off campus students with both informational and social programming to meet their needs and interest, commuter students will experience the University's commitment to student success in both their academic and co-curricular endeavors.

The OCSC is located in Rm. 208 Lower Level of Student Union Building.   The center is open 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Student Legal Services

The Student Legal Services office is a student-funded law office which provides legal assistance to fee-paying UMass students and student groups. SLSO offers advice and/or referral in most legal matters affecting students, and can assist in identifying and solving legal problems.

Veteran Services

The mission of Veteran Services is to assist veterans, guardsman, reservist and their family members in taking full advantage of all educational benefits available to them as well as assist in the transition from active duty to student life at UMass Amherst. We provide advocacy, and we have networks and resources on and off campus that benefit this student community.

Veteran Services offers a Drop-in Center for veteran students to relax or study. Regular hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday thru Friday. Educational and social events are sponsored throughout the year.
