Off Campus Student Services provides programming, resources, education, trainings, social events, and general support for students who attend UMass and live in the greater Amherst area. OCSS student programs and services include print and web site resources, cooking classes, field trips to grocery stores, karaoke nights, open houses for new students, parents, and international students, housing fairs, bus tours of area apartment communities, and information sessions on topics like living successfully off campus, saving on energy, renting, and subletting.
OCSS hosts the Housing and Community Resources website (www.umocss.org), an educational and search tool used by tenants, landlords, students, staff, faculty, and community members who are seeking housing, housemates, or tenants.
OCSS manages the Off Campus Student Center, a dedicated space on campus for students to do homework, rent a locker, relax between classes, use a computer or printer, and meet with study groups.
