It is with great pleasure that I announce the Student Affairs and Campus Life 2nd Annual “REDI” (Recognize Excellence, Dedication, and Innovation) Award Program. This recognition program acknowledges staff dedicated to excellence in contributing to our students’ successful educational experience. I am confident that our Student Affairs Division exemplifies outstanding achievements, values and dedication. Please take this moment to nominate. The REDI awards will be presented at our annual “Kick-Off” breakfast on August 22, 2013. Nominations are due by Friday, June 14th.

Award Categories and Criteria
- Student Engagement Award This award acknowledges contributions to the personal development and academic success of students by creating opportunities for students to be engaged in the campus community. Staff who create a positive environment and engage students in their overall development by promoting their intellectual, physical, and emotional well-being will be considered for this award.
- Go Team Award! The Go Team Award emphasizes the importance of individuals working together. This award recognizes a workgroup or individual who exemplifies the values of collaboration and teamwork that further Student Affairs and Campus Life goals. Staff who promote partnerships and increase Student Affairs and Campus Life visibility within the university community will be considered for this award.
- Thinking Outside of the Box Award This award highlights innovative ways in which people do their work. Staff will be recognized who initiate new ways of improving services to other members of the campus community or develop new ideas that make a difference in the every day work environment.
- The “Go To - Can Do” Award This award recognizes a person’s can do attitude that serves to go above and beyond to make things happen. They are knowledgeable in their positions, have a positive attitude and are motivated to make the extra effort. These individuals make a positive difference in someone’s day.
