STPEC

Advisors work with students to help them conceptualize what they want to get out of the major.

Advising for STPEC Majors

Advising is an important component of the Program. Advisors work with students not to tell them what to do, but to help with conceptualizing what they want to ultimately get out of the major. Because of the interdepartmental course offerings, and variety of possible directions, students need to plan their course of studies and activities carefully. During registration time students MUST make an appointment with an advisor in the STPEC office to plan course selection for the next semester, and obtain their registration code (RAC). Students are also encouraged to drop in to the office any time for advice, assistance, and support.
