Financial Aid for LGBT Students
Stonewall Scholarship Fund
The Stonewall Scholarship Fund was created in 1995 to help LGBT students at UMass Amherst who have been financially cut off by their families after their sexual orientation or gender identity becomes known and who need additional money to stay in school. For information about the fund, please contact Stonewall Director Brett-Genny Janiczek Beemyn: 413-545-4826; brettgenny@stuaf.umass.edu
Because the Scholarship Fund currently has limited money available to support the many students in need, we are seeking additional contributions. To make a donation, please go to our "Donate to Us" page.
