Info for Community College / Transfer Students
Please note that for enrollment purposes all students applying to the Stockbridge School are considered freshman applicants, not transfer applicants. However, transfer credit can be awarded for a few specific courses required in the Stockbridge School majors. Therefore, if you have attended or are currently attending another college, you must submit official transcripts from all colleges attended (whether or not transfer credit is desired).
Photocopies and student copies are not acceptable. Students in their first year of college or with fewer than 27 completed college credits must also submit high school transcripts (or GED scores) and SAT/ACT scores. The requirment for standardized test scores is waived if the applicant has been out of high school for five years or more.
A minimum of 30 credits must be earned in residence at the Stockbridge School.
Applicants with transferable credit comparable to the first semester's coursework may apply for spring enrollment. Otherwise, due to the sequential nature of the curricula at Stockbridge School, applications are not accepted for spring semester.
