IBM SPSS Statistics 19 FixPack (Patch)

IBM uses a different naming and numbering conventions in upgrades than SPSS used. IBM convention adds an extra number to the version notation, and what SPSS would call a "patch" IBM terms a "FixPack". Thus, under the old SPSS naming and numbering convention, this upgrade would have been called the "19.0.2 Patch". Under the new scheme is known as the "19.0.0.2 FixPack 2" It will upgrade your IBM SPSS Statistics 19.0.0.0 or 19.0.0.1 installation to IBM SPSS Statistics 19.0.0.2.

You must have IBM SPSS Statistics 19 installed before you can apply this patch. You do not need to apply 19.0.0.1 Fix Pack first.

1. Log in as a local administrator.
2. Ensure that Statistics 19 for Windows is not running.
3. Download Fix Pack 2 appropriate for your installed version of Statistics 19 (32 or 64 bit).
4. Run the Statistics 19 Fix Pack executable. On Windows Vista or Windows 7 operating systems, you ​​must​​ right-click on the executable and  select "Run as Administrator".​​
5. Allow a reboot.
6. Statistics 19.0.0.2 is ready to run. Use the Help -> About menu to verify 19.0.0.2 is the installed version.
